The makers of ColoradoEnergy.org aimed to create an all-inclusive Web site that can point businesses to any energy-efficiency or renewable-energy organization or company within the state of Colorado. They’ve done their job.

Colorado builders, architects, and designers: look here for building codes, laws and legislation, and background information before undertaking renewable-energy or energy-efficiency initiatives. Visit the “Tips and Information” section to learn how your business can increase profits through improved energy efficiency. Then access the “Colorado Renewable Energy Resource Guide” and a directory of renewable-energy providers throughout the state.

The site also offers a handbook on clean-energy choices and fact sheets on solar water heating, photovoltaics, and wind-energy systems. The “What’s Hot” section will keep you informed of pressing energy issues in Colorado; it includes reports on utility-company restructuring and an article entitled, “Whassup with Energy Prices?”
