If congress can't get it done...
...then let the EPA at it. America really is a great country, I believe that, but sometimes we are 100% ridiculous.
Why is the debate about "the science of global warming" still happening??? Are we so narrow and short sighted that we cannot have a constructive debate on the best policy to address the crisis we are in? Pretending it doesn't exist or maneuvering to scare/delay as long as possible is not even a remotely rational position!
We do not have time to waste with this sort of bickering. I can understand differences around policy and implementation of climate change legislation. I cannot understand a lack of ability/willingness to recognize climate change as a critical issue which must be addressed now. This criticism cuts across party lines.
If Congress can't get it done, then let the EPA do it.
