Diaper debate
In regard to the cloth vs. disposable debate. True - the production and use of cloth diapers is not perfect - agreed. But please consider that each baby in disposable diapers will need about 5840 diapers in their approximately 2- 2 1/2 years of diapers. And then consider the energy and resources that go into producing those disposable diapers and transporting them to stores and homes vs producing, using and washing 24 to 48 cloth diapers over the same period of time.
And - of course using organic cotton, wool and recycled fibers for cloth diapers is even more energy and resource conserving than using regular cotton or synthetics!
