green labels
Great article, thanks Lawrence. The green label that you are talking about is on it's way. Good Things Green is using carbon, and many other data points to help consumers make a choice between different $1.39 screwdrivers. In your opinion, what other data points are important to the consumer? Anyone is free to answer that : )

Great summary and Wal-Mart's Green Labeling Initiative
Great post. You really summarized the evolution of the market forces driving supply chain greening. It is also noteworthy that Wal-Mart's recent 15-question survey for its suppliers is intended to start the migration to a worldwide, open-source database for green product ratings.
