Climate Change Pros: Male, Well-Paid and Secure

Published June 03, 2009

Those salaries look low - did it include nuclear engineers?

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics as of May 2008 the median annual wage for nuclear engineers was $97,080.

Surely people whose primary occupation is the production of more than 70% of the emission free energy supply in the country should count as "climate change professionals".

For the women reading this, please rest assured that the nuclear industry has a pretty good record for pay parity.
