Is the media dominated by left-wing liberals?
Many conservative-minded individuals believe the media is dominated by left-wing liberals.
Conservatives distrust reporting on climate change, which is presumably viewed as a left-wing issue.
The only way to "right the ship" is to do one of two things:
1) Provide more policitally balanced reporting.
2) Change people's perception of the media.
I don't see 2) happening. 1) is happening, via conservative talk radio and conservative TV stations (FOX comes to mind).
Conservatives and liberals need their time to discuss, to discover facts, to form opinions. If conservatives don't have a vehicle to do this, they won't move along very far in the discussion.
Similarly, Democrats must learn the vocabulary of business and economics so that their words strike a chord with private enterprise.
